The Chilo Foundation was established in 2011 by Louis Chavez, co-founder of ForeclosureMax Academy, and Alex Jimenez. Inspired by a desire to teach their families the value of selflessness, Louis and Alex began their journey by preparing and distributing over 100 sandwiches to homeless individuals in Skid Row. What started as a simple act of kindness quickly grew into a passion for service, driven by the overwhelming gratitude they experienced from those they helped.

This humble beginning laid the foundation for a powerful mission: to provide consistent, reliable support to those in need. Over the years, Louis, Alex, and their families have continued their commitment, turning a small act of charity into a movement that has inspired over 500 volunteers to join them. Today, the Chilo Foundation is stronger than ever, bringing people together to fight homelessness with compassion and dedication.

The Chilo Foundation aims to create a network of volunteer services, partnering with other organizations to implement strategies that can end homelessness for good.
